Wind Harvest International is ready for international
certification and commercial sales of the Windstar 3000, the largest,
most cost effective turbine it has developed (see technical specifications).
This 50 foot tall
by 75 feet wide turbine starts producing power in 10 mph winds and cuts
out when the wind approaches 65 mph. It rapidly achieves the full
capacity of its 75kW generator and has one of the best power curves in
the industry. It will be exceptionally competitive in the lower wind
speed locations while being highly profitable in any wind resource with
16 mph or higher wind speeds. Numerous wind farm owners have expressed
interest in Windstar turbines because of the capacity to make double
use of their land and infrastructure investments.
The Windstar
3000 will be attractive to many customers besides wind farm owners and
developers. In any good wind resource that presently uses diesel
generation such as off-grid villages, desalination plants, and many
farm and ranch wells, customers will find it profitable to purchase
these turbines. Locations with reasonable near-ground level winds that
can "net meter" will find Windstar turbines especially attractive.Wind
Harvest International is seeking capital to move its Windstar 3000
through the Germanischer Lloyd certification process, advance sales and
become profitable. For more information, please contact
Wind Harvest International.

Windstar Advantages
Silent operation, self-Starting, low profile design minimizes visual impact, windstars can be co-located with horizontal axis turbines to increase output in new and existing windfarms, windstars can operate in extreme wind sites where other turbines cannot.
