Innovative Technology Paves the Way for Market Dominance
Wind Harvest is proud of its engineering team and the ten original technological innovations they developed in creating the Wind Harvester® 4.0. To date, eight of these innovations have been granted patents.
Once our Wind Harvesters are certified and proven to operate synergistically with Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWTs), we anticipate a surge in demand for Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs) to populate the understories of existing wind farms—demand that will exceed the supply capacity of any single company.
Other manufacturers will undoubtedly attempt to meet this demand by developing their own utility-scale H-type VAWTs. But they will quickly encounter the same engineering challenges we faced: achieving high efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness at scale. Without access to Wind Harvest’s patented technologies, replicating our performance will be extremely difficult—making the licensing of our intellectual property a critical advantage in the newly created wind energy market.
Patent Name:
VAWT with Vertical Braces
Lead Inventor:
Olamide Ajala Inyang
Other Inventors:
Alin Ionut Munteanu, Jeffrey Willis, David John Malcolm, Antoni Ojeda Monge
Implements braces to eliminate the need for cables. This is important to structural resonance, and increases efficiency of manufacturing and installation.
Date Granted: August 2024

Patent Name:
Polygonal Mast
Lead Inventor:
Jeffrey Willis
Other Inventors:
Alin Ionut Munteanu, Antonio Ojeda Monge, Olamide Ajala Inyang, David John Malcolm
A flat-sided mast makes bolting on the arms and braces more effective, and increases the durability of the connections. Additionally, it is less expensive to make, install, and assemble than a cylindrical mast.
Date Granted: October 2024

Patent Name:
Collapsible Rotor Assembly
Lead Inventor:
Jeffrey Willis
Other Inventors:
Antonio Ojeda Monge, David John Malcolm, Olamide Ajala Inyang, Omar Garcia, Alin Ionut Munteanu
Collapsible rotor allows for easier and more cost-efficient transportation, installation, and assembly.
Date Granted: June 2025
