Bureaucratic Problem Solved. Installation Restarts
On October 1 we were notified by West Texas A&M University, the owner of the property on which the UL Advanced Wind Turbine Testing Facility is installed, that we needed a letter of credit proving that funds were set aside to ensure the turbines would be removed after our testing was completed, in approximately 6 months. Our bank told us that it would take 4-6 weeks to secure a letter of credit, which would create an unacceptable delay. The good news is that UL and WTAMU worked overtime to solve this problem. Today, we were allowed back on site. Tomorrow, the final steps in the installation process will begin.

Wind Harvest International, Inc. is a California-based renewable energy technology company, founded in 2006. The company makes, sells, and develops projects for its Wind Harvester brand of H-type turbines, the only known product designed to harvest the highly energetic, turbulent wind that blows 15-80 feet above the ground. Wind Harvest’s wholly-owned financial subsidiary Wind Harvest Pilot Project Inc. raises funds and loans it to the parent company.
